Commission Opportunity

Director at Large Position

Applications close October 22, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. local time.

The Slave Lake Airport Services Commission is accepting letters of interest for one Director at Large position. The successful applicant will be appointed by the Board for a two-year term.

Airfield Construction Notice

Shoreline Erosion Project

Project now in progress — expected duration of up to three weeks

The Shoreline Erosion Project is underway. Work will proceed seven days a week and will affect Runway 10 and all airfield lighting during daylight hours.

  • Sunrise to sunset: The Runway 10 threshold will be displaced by 874 ft.
  • Sunrise to sunset: All airfield lighting will be unserviceable.
  • Sunset to sunrise: The airport will return to regular operations.
  • Pilots and operators must check current NOTAMs for operational details.
